Scholarships
The MS6 Scholarship for High School Football Players was established in loving memory of Matthew J. Stratman, through the Matthew J. Stratman “Stratman Strong” Foundation. The mission of the Foundation is to carry forward Matt’s legacy and his spirit of helping others. While Matt was a dedicated and talented athlete, his love of people – the way he treated everyone in friendship and kindness – shone most brightly to those whose lives he touched.
This $2000.06 scholarship (Matt proudly wore #6 when he played Football at Lakota West) will be awarded annually to a Lakota West Senior Football Player who exhibits exceptional sportsmanship towards his fellow teammates and opponents, as well. Recipients must exhibit character that puts others first and looks for the good in all people.

Requirements
– graduating senior Football Player at Lakota West High School
– planning to further their education at 2 or 4 year college/university, trade school, certificate program, etc.
– must exhibit a track record of community service, good sportsmanship, and putting others before oneself

Recipients must exhibit character that puts others first and looks for the good in all people.
